Opening May 1, The Salt Oasis Kingsport is the Tri-Cities only Holistic Salt Therapy Spa. We are so excited to bring the phenomenon that is growing across the nation to East Tennessee. Although Halotherapy (salt therapy) is just now making it's way into the United States, Halotherapy was proven beneficial for our bodies hundreds of years ago, and has been used for thousands of years. We Americans are just learning of the healing power of Himalayan Pink Salt.
Over the winter, my mother-in-law, Anita, visited her daughter who is very much into holistic medicine. It was there Anita was introduced to pink salt lamps; her daughter's office was full of them! She noticed any time she would be around those lamps she would instantly begin to relax and breathe better. Needless to say, she was intrigued and began her research.
Months later, my husband and I visited Anita and walked into a house sprinkled with pink salt lamps. I was amazed at the calmness and beauty these lamps brought to her home. She introduced me to Halotherapy that day. We began learning the benefits of this so called salt therapy and began visiting salt rooms and caves near us. Quickly, we realized we were driving at least an hour to soak up these natural benefits.
There the idea was born to open our own! She has owned businesses and so have I, so we did what seemed natural to us....start a Salt Therapy business. With a lot of planning, preparation and excitement, we are diligently working on bringing the holistic healing power of Halotherapy to the Tri-Cities. The Salt Oasis is THE place for all your Salt Therapy needs, including our stunning Salt Room.
